Come join us in celebrating Living History Weekend!

Now celebrating its 26th year, the Washington County Historical Society’s annual Living History Weekend is one of North Carolina’s premier Civil War events. Known for its intimate feel and beautiful riverfront setting , the weekend-long event features two battle reenactments, an evening “Torchlight Theater”, period tea party, “Dueling Narrators” debate, children’s recruiting station, period music, period fashion show, troop encampment, book signers, free museum entrance, and more!
